V. JAMES ADDUCI II received his B.A. from the University of Colorado and his J.D. from the John Marshall Law School. Mr. Adduci served as legal counsel with the USITC from 1975 to 1979. During that time, he dealt with all matters within the Commission's jurisdiction, including unfair competition cases under 19 U.S.C. § 1337, antidumping and countervailing duty actions, and escape clause proceedings.

In 1977, Mr. Adduci was appointed by the U.S. Trade Representative as a member of the U.S. delegation to the Multilateral Trade Negotiations (Tokyo Round) in Geneva. There he was principally involved in negotiations concerning import safeguards. In 1979, he left government service to establish the firm. Since then, Mr. Adduci has represented parties in cases involving all of the major trade statutes and has advised clients concerning international commercial transactions and joint ventures. Mr. Adduci has served on the board of directors of several major multinational corporations. He is the former Chairman of the International Trade Committee of the Federal Circuit Bar Association and a current member of the Board of Governors of the Association. He has lectured and published articles on various international trade issues, including international finance and investment and intellectual property protection.
