DANIEL F. SMITH received his Bachelors of Science from Grove City College and his Juris Doctorate, magna cum laude, from The Catholic University of America, Columbus School of Law. While in law school, Mr. Smith studied international business and trade while at the Jagiellonian University in Poland. He researched case law and wrote legal memoranda on various federal statutes while interning with the U.S. Department of Justice, Fraud and Public Corruption Section of the U.S. Attorney’s Office in Washington, D.C., and also competed in the Willem C. Vis International Commercial Arbitration Moot held in Vienna, Austria. Mr. Smith was previously with a large firm where he focused on patent litigation.
His areas of concentration include intellectual property litigation and Section 337 investigations. Mr. Smith is admitted to practice in Commonwealth of Pennsylvania and the District of Columbia and before the U.S. Court of Federal Claims. He is a member of the ITC Trial Lawyers Association.
