Summer Associate Program at AMS
Training the Next Generation of Attorneys
While many of our attorneys joined the firm from government agencies like the U.S. International Trade Commission and the U.S. Customs and Border Protection, we also develop talent from within. Our summer program was designed to give law students real experience working for a highly-ranked international trade and intellectual property law firm in Washington, D.C. The success of our program can be seen in the talented graduates of the summer program who have joined our firm.

The summer program is also a way to create friendships with people at the firm. We enjoy our happy hours and get-togethers. As a smaller firm, we get to know each other quickly. In the past, we've played softball and ran the Lawyers Have Heart race by the American Heart Association. We also enjoyed watching the Nationals baseball games and outings to The Farm, a farmhouse of one of our attorney's.
Adjusting to the 2020 pandemic, we made sure to continue our team-building mentality from a distance by having cooking tutorials over video, virtual book club, trivia, bingo, Pictionary, and even a Hamilton watch-party!
