Encore Wins at the ITC:
ITC Determines US Industry Injured by Aluminum Wire and Cable from China
AMS attorney Deanna Tanner Okun was delighted to team up with the law firm of Cassidy Levy Kent to deliver a unanimous victory at the U.S. International Trade Commission for Encore Corporation in the investigation Aluminum Wire and Cable from China (Inv. Nos. 701-TA-611 and 731-TA-1428).
The 5-0 affirmative found that a U.S. industry is materially injured by the imports of aluminum wire and cable from China that, according to the US Department of Commerce, are subsidized and sold in the US at less than fair value.
Commerce plans to issue antidumping and countervailing duty orders on imports of this product from China. The Department of Commerce’s public report supporting its findings will be available January 6 at the following link: .
